Christie's has invited Pierre Bonnefille to present a scenography with selected objects for the traditional Art d’Asie sales in December. The halls of Avenue Matignon show a conversation between the auction pieces and Pierre Bonnefille's artworks. This collaboration offers a unique opportunity to explore artist's universe and the connection between his work and Asia. As part of the exhibition he presents the selection of Rhizome sculptural furniture pieces and artworks form Bronze Painting series.

The works presented for this exhibition reflect the artist's memories of his travels in Asia, particularly in Japan, China, India and South-East Asia, this particular region which remains for him an infinite source of inspiration.
