— In 2012, Pierre Bonnefille collaborated with Renzo Piano architects to create a mural composition for its emblematic project; the Shard Tower.

 

The project is located in a private apartment which has a spectacular panoramic view above the clouds, which will be the starting point for the artwork. Looking at the evolution of the colors of the sky at sundown, Pierre Bonnefille imagined and created a monumental mural composition of 6 meters long by 4 meters.

 

Pierre Bonnefille’s objective was to transpose the varying depths and tones of the colour blue and instill them into a geometric composition whose shapes bring out the forms of the reflections of the large windows.
